Fri 2nd August... We walked to Long Beach to stock up on the forth coming birthday extravaganza. It was to be Adrian's birthday tomorrow! Wehey! Well almost, his birthday is actually on the 14th, but we didn't think we'd all still be together then and so tomorrow seemed like the perfect opportunity!! (We ended up celebrating it on the 14th as well - what the hell!) In the end, we considered 4 x 375ml bottles of Vodka, 4 x 375ml bottles of Monkey Juice (Special Wine) and 4 cans of beer to be suitable stock for tomorrows gig!

I can imagine that we first paused, however, along Coral Bay on the the way to Long Beach for one of the legendary Coral Bay Milkshakes. They do everything... M&Ms, Snickers, Vanilla, you name it! Marvellous! Filling too! Order some accompanying sandwiches because you're feeling 'peckish' and you'll struggle to finish the sandwiches!

We also booked up a snorkelling trip for the four of us around the islands for the 5th (give us a day to chill out after Adrians birthday!)

Sat 32rd August... It's Adrians birthday and Denise and Mette Louisa had snuck out of the hut early in order to get special birthday pancake from the restaurant!

I'd been toying with the idea for a short while now and had discussed it with the others. It was an appropriate day - Adrians birthday - so I paraded down into the sea, lathered up and yes; shaved the goatie!! Just the tash and side bits, to leave fuzzy chin tuft! I also shortened the side boards at the same time too! The tash had simply became too much of a pain in the ass to maintain whilst I'm travelling to be honest - and besides, I think I'm hellishly sexier without it! Mangaged to somehow shave off five years at the same time - bonus!

I then went to do my washing by the well... Abbey and Issy were around, but until they were later prompted, they didn't notice. It took ages to do the washing; I had loads. The results weren't too good either - I didn't have much soap! At least they didn't smell too bad - as those who'd washed by the 3rd well seemed to produce rather smelly clean cloths!

Adrians birthday celebrations got under way at dinner. The kids had parcelled up his food, rice in one, chicken in the other etc.... nice! They had, however, inadvertantly labelled his gifts, "Andrew" - my name! But the thought was most definately there!

We cracked open the bottles soon after diner. But it wasn't long before Denise managed to take an almighty drag from the wrong end and smoked half the butt!! The bodies natural defense was very quick to kick in and promptly began to reject the toxins! She was heard blowing chunks from 20 yards! Unfortunately she never did recover properly that night as Adrian and myself slowly turned into silly billies, playing with huge snails and talking twaddle.

Sun 4th August... We did what we do best at Mira... we chilled!
